PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive and hygienically preferable high pressure treatment device enabling to feed a raw material thereinto without the overflow of the raw material, by disposing a free piston in the pressing chamber of a high pressure tank. CONSTITUTION:A raw material is fed from a piping 32 into a pressing chamber 23 through a lower lid 21, and a free piston 50 is simultaneously pressed up by the raw material. Air in the pressing chamber 23 is released in the atmosphere from a piping attached to an upper lid 22 through a valve 69. When the pressing chamber 23 is filled with the raw material, the free piston is tightly brought into contact with the upper lid 22 to close an air-discharging pipe 6. It is thereby detected that a pressure in the pressing chamber reaches a prescribed pressure, and a pump for feeding the raw material is stopped to stop the feed of the raw material. The raw material is pressed by the action of a converter in the pressing chamber, held in the chamber for a prescribed time, subjected to the reduction of the high pressure and subsequently discharged from the high pressure tank. |
