<p>PURPOSE:To adopt the best technology at all times without losing the compatibility with a conventional device even when a new compression means is adopted for the purpose of improving the compression technology or the like by providing a means compressing a digital data and a storage medium to the storage device. CONSTITUTION:A digital data from a coding circuit 14 is fed to a DSP 3 and a control signal and an address signal from a control circuit 15 are fed to the DSP 3. Thus, the digital data of the video signal picked up by the DSP 3 is compressed. Then the digital data stored in a RAM 2 is expanded into the original data by the DSP3 and extracted. In this case, since the digital signal processor(DSP) 3 is built in the RAM card 1, the RAM card 1 when viewed from a main body device 100 is equal to a conventional RAM card. Thus, the new RAM card 1 is used even for a conventional device.</p> |
