PURPOSE:To enhance convenience in use by lowering a control lever independently to a housing position, taking advantage of relationship between a cam groove and an engaging pin engaging with the cam groove, when the control lever is oscillated to an erected position in order to restrain a supporting plate at a pulled-up position. CONSTITUTION:When a control lever 30 is oscillated to an erected position, a needle tip part 37 of a release link 35 pulls a supporting plate 40 up via a claw member 50. The claw member 50 is engaged in succession with the teeth of a ratchet plate 20a until it is engaged with a high ranking tooth, thereby restraining the supporting plate 40 at a pulled-up position. Thus, a brake cable is held in a brake state. If the control lever 30 is pulled down in this state, a projected part 38 of a needle shaft part 36 of the release link 35 slides down from an operation-end 51 of the claw member 50, so that the needle shaft part 36 comes off the operation-end 51. Thus, the control lever 30 is lowered independently, centering around an engaging pin 21, and an engaging pin 45 moves relatively to an after-end of an upper cam 32. If the control lever 30 is pulled down further, the control lever 30 oscillates, centering around the engaging pin 45, to come into a stored state. |
