The magnetron includes a capacitor (8) and a filter box (9) having an assembling hole (9a). An attachment plate (83) of the capacitor (8) has a bent edge (83a), and the bent edge includes a plurality of thin pieces (b) separated by a plurality of slits (a). The bent edge (83a) shields leaking microwaves, and the attachment plate (83) and the capacitor (8) constitutes a capacitor unit (8A). The magnetron completely prevents the leakage of microwaves.
