<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a car lock device by forming a car lock device of a main latch engaged with a main striker and an auxiliary latch engaging with an auxiliary striker, and releasing the other when one is engaged. CONSTITUTION:When a main striker 4 is engaged with a main latch 2, in the case where the main striker 4 is engaged with an engaging groove 5 of the main latch 2, a claw of a main ratchet 6 is engaged with an engaging step section 8 of the main latch 2 to prevent the inversion of the main latch 2, and the main latch 2 is set to a lock position. After that, the end section 28 of a turning lever 25 is pushed with a pin 29 of the main latch 2, the other end suction 30 of the turning lever 25 is turned in the opposite direction, and when the opposite end section 31 of an auxiliary ratchet 18 is pushed with the other end suction 30, a claw 19 of the auxiliary ratchet 18 is released from an engaging step section 20, and an auxiliary latch 15 is turned to an unlock position. When an auxiliary striker 16 is also engaged with the auxiliary latch 15, the main latch 2 is turned to the unlock position.</p> |
