PURPOSE:To eliminate useless operations as well as to stabilize oil at optimum temperatures by checking restoring operations down to the lowermost floor when an elevator passage is high in temperature, and thereby allowing restoring operations with a certain time delayed when the passage is low in temperature. CONSTITUTION:A temperature detecting means 5 is provided within an elevator passage, and a lowermost floor restoring means is also provided for a control device 4. The output of the temperature detecting means 5 is inputted into the control means 4, and when temperature within the elevator passage is higher than a specified one, the output of a command from a lowest floor restoring means 5 for starting a lowermost floor restoring operation is then prohibited. On the other hand, when the temperature is lower than specified, after a specified time set by the lowest floor restoring means 5, has delayed since the time when an elevator cage was stopped to standby at an upper floor, an output for commanding the lowermost floor restoring operation is transmitted to the hydraulic valve of a hydraulic unit 2, so that the elevator cage 7 is thereby operated down to the lowermost floor. |
