PURPOSE:To shorten the controlling time and at the same time to quickly and accurately stop a driven object at a target position by comparing an operated stop position with the target position and controls the drive of a motor based on the result of the comparison. CONSTITUTION:A velocity counter 11 is started and a motor 2 is turned on. Then the value tn (velocity) measured by the counter 11 at this time is inputted to a stop position arithmetic part 13 together with the precedent measured value tn-1 (velocity) stored in a latch part 14. Thus the stop position of a lens is operated when the brake is applied to the motor 2. The value tn is stored in the part 14 for operation of the next stop position. The arithmetic result N of the part 13 is sent to an adder part 16 together with the contents of a position counter 15. Thus the result N and the contents of the counter 15 are added together at the part 16 and an estimated stop position is obtained. Then the estimated stop position is sent to a target position comparing part 18 and compared with the target position stored in a target position storage part 17. Based on this comparing result, the motor 2 is controlled by a motor control part 19. |
