The acetabular implant comprising a screw-type ring (1) and a core (2) is distinguished by the fact that the bore (1a) of the ring (1) is of frustoconical shape communicating, in the area of its polar zone, with an open base (1b) designed to ensure the clipping and the rotational locking of the core (2) of frustoconical shape complementing that of the said bore, the lower part of the core (2) having shapes (2a) complementing those established in the polar zone of the ring (1) and capable of receiving an impactor member, the equatorial part being completely free. <IMAGE>
