PURPOSE:To make it possible to connect a resin pipe and metal pipe to each other by providing a fitting integrally formed of a cylindrical base having a female screw for connecting the metal pipe, a synthetic resin made sleeve for connecting the resin pipe, and a synthetic resin made sleeve for forcibly holding a seal ring. CONSTITUTION:A converting fitting A includes: a cylindrical base 1 provided with a female screw 11 on the inner peripheral surface of a cylinder made of cast iron or steel for connecting a metal pipe; a synthetic resin made straight sleeve projecting on one side of the base 1 for connecting a resin pipe 2; and a synthetic resin sleeve 3 formed with a plurality of concentric stepped portions expanding radially inwardly on the inner periphery of a cylindrical resin layer 31 projecting on the other side of the base 1.
