<p>PURPOSE:To increase the recovery rate of aluminum by scattering sodium hydrogencarbonate into dross discharged to the outside of a melting furnace, executing rapid cooling and thereafter separating and recovering aluminum content. CONSTITUTION:At the time of melting aluminum, caused dross is discharged to the outside of a melting furnace. This dross is scattered with sodium hydrogencarbonate, and rapid cooling is executed. After that, aluminum content is separated and recovered. The sodium hydrogencarbonate scattered in the high temp. dross swiftly executes a reaction accompanying endothermism and cools the high temp. dross in a short time coupled with the effect of suppressing the oxidation of aluminum by carbon dioxide and Na ions generated by separation. In this way, the generation of dust is extremely reduced, and the workability can be made better.</p> |
