PURPOSE:To enable simple and precise display of the azimuth of advance of a moving body by detecting the relative azimuth angle of an automatic tracking antenna to the moving body. CONSTITUTION:The direction of an automatic tracking antenna 1 tracking a satellite, that is, a relative azimuth angle phi from the direction of the satellite to the direction of movement of a moving body 6, is detected by an angle detector 2 for detection of relative azimuth and sent to CPU 3. Meanwhile, the current position is key-inputted from a satellite azimuth angle input device 4 and a satellite azimuth angle psi at the present position of the moving body 6 which is stored beforehand is also inputted to the CPU 3. An advance azimuth angle theta of the moving body 6 is expressed by an equation theta=psi-phi. The CPU 3 executes computation from the relative azimuth angle phi to the direction of movement of the moving body which is inputted thereto, on the basis of the equation theta=psi-phi, and the advance azimuth angle theta is displayed in a display unit 5. According to this constitution, the azimuth of advance of the moving body can be displayed simply and precisely. |
