The solid or hollow bowl (1) carries, at least on its outer surface, and, preferably, both on its outer surface and on its inner surface, when it is hollow, hollowed-out motifs (4, 5). These hollowed-out motifs are distributed uniformly over at least 90 % of the outer surface (2) and the surface of the said hollowed-out motifs represents at least 10 to 70 % of the total outer surface (2) of the bowl (1), each hollowed-out motif occupying from 0.1 to 2 0/00 of the outer surface of the bowl. The bowl constitutes, in particular in the case of the game of petanque, the jack when it is solid and the bowls used by the thrower and/or by the marker when they are hollow. <IMAGE> |
