PURPOSE:To obtain a color developing agent with superior color characteristics which never spoil the hue of a coloring agent for a magnetic single-component development system by using magnetic particulates which do not have large coloring performance together with the coloring agent. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic toner of present invention contain magnetic particulates of N5 - N6 and the coloring agent in binding resin for a color display method based on three attributes prescribed by JIS 8721. The magnetic particulates which are preferably used have 4 - 5mum particle size, 95 - 100emn/g saturated magnetism, 5 - 70e coercive force, 7 - 8 pH, <=0.01% water content, and 1m<2>/g specific surface area. The magnetic particulates are preferably spherical iron obtained by using Fe(CO)5 and performing a decomposing and a reducing process. |
