PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption of a battery regarding the display of charging requirement extremely by temporarily exciting an electromagnet for a locking release device and erecting a flag when the voltage of the battery is lowered to a fixed value or less. CONSTITUTION:A flag 4 is supported rotatably onto a car body 13 by a shaft 12, and energized in the direction of erection by a torsion coil spring 14 mounted around the shaft 13. A locking pawl 10 is energized by a coil spring 16, and locks the flag 4 to a falling state under a normal state. When the voltage of a battery is made lower than reference voltage, a voltage sensor outputs constant voltage. When currents are made to flow temporarily from the voltage sensor, an electromagnet 11 attracts the locking pawl 10 against the force of the spring 16, and locking is released. When the locking is released, the flag 4 is erected by the force of the torsion coil spring 14. The flag is held mechanically under an erected state subsequently, thus releasing the excitation of the electromagnet. |
