Component for making flowers from fabric for use as "colour-changing" hygrometers. The invention relates to a component that enables objects to change colour with changes in the atmosphere and in particular, on a white background, changes are obtained ranging from blue through purplish tones to pink. Essentially, it comprises cobalt in the form of cobalt chloride or a solution combined with hygrometric (or dehydrating) substances. The component according to the invention is particularly intended for the making of flowers from fabric in which the colours change according to the humidity of the air. The objects thus act as a hygrometer.
