The invention relates to a globe valve of the sort comprising a body which includes an inlet tube, an outlet tube, and a well emerging into these; a partially spherical globe which can move axially in this well in order to bear on a conical seat formed in the said body; and a rod for actuating the said globe. Essentially, this valve is characterised by the fact that the said globe (19) consists of a spherical cap (22), the axis of revolution (Z) of which is inclined with respect to the common axis (X) of the said tubes (2, 3), and that the said globe (19) is connected by a ball joint (16, 17) to a pusher (follower) (13) which can move axially in the said well (4) without being able to rotate, this being by means of a sliding block for transmitting thrust (16).
