PURPOSE:To measure the net amount of radiation which is radiated from a unit to be measured by digitally memorizing the sensed value of a stray radiation. CONSTITUTION:The stray radiation is measured, with a radiation sensor 21 not opposing the unit to be measured. The sensed signal of the stray radiation is stored in an up and down counter 26 as a compensating signal, and held as a form of current I2. Then, the radiation from the unit to be tested is measured, with the radiation sensor opposing the unit to be tested, and the result is supplied to a current transformer 24 as a form of a current I1. The current I1 is the sum of the net amount of the unit to be measured and the stray radiation. The current I2 expresses the stray radiation. Since the output voltage of the current amplifier 24 is expressed by subtraction I1-I2, the net amount of the radiation radiated from the unit to be measured can be accurately measured. |
