摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To polish even ceramics, regarded as difficult material to be polished because of its cleaving property and easiness in grain detachment, efficiently into the mirror like surface of the highly smooth finished face close to the mirror like surface by adding powder provided with mechanochemical action to a high-density low-grade grinding wheel, and polishing the material to be polished under the existence of machining liquid. CONSTITUTION:In the polishing process of ceramics regarded as difficult material to be polished, especially in its precision polishing, a high-density low-grade grinding wheel, made of abrasive grain of the hardness equal to or slightly higher than that of the material to be polished, is used, and powder, provided with mechanochemical function to the material to be polished, is added to this grinding wheel. Combining this high-density low-grade grinding wheel with the powder provided with mechanochemical action, the material to be polished is polished under the existence of water and other machining liquid, preferably under high pressure, to obtain the highly smooth finished face.</p>
