Equipment for heat-developing a migration imaging member has a migration marking material and a material which softens under heat; it has also a heat source, a conveyor to carry the member past the heat source, and rollers at each end of and touching the conveyor; the member is passed through one pair of rollers on the conveyor and, after passing the heat source, throught the second pair of rollers; the surface temp. of the first rollers is at least 20 deg.C lower than the development temp. of the member whilst they are in contact with the member; the surface temp. of the second pair of rollers is similarly low during their contact with the member; the heat source is held at development temp. of the member during the development concerned. Both pairs of rollers preferably have adhesive coatings of fluorpolymer or silicone, or PTFE, polytrifluormethyl trifluorethylene-co tetrafluorethylene, polyheptafluorpropylethylene, polyheptafluorpropylethylene co-tetrafluorethylene, or polytrifluormethyl trifluorethylene. ADVANTAGE - The equipment does not damage the members and affect the quality of image. It is free from problems of fault colour overlaps when producing xerox printing (colour) masters. The members are fed automatically into the equipment and have only a single pass. Different sizes of member can be treated.
