The electrically driven room ventilator comprises a bar positioned upright and round which fan blades of flat material mounted in a holder rotate, the latter being driven by a motor on the bar. The blades are inserted in the holder at the sides, locking detachably into engagement with it, typically via snap connectors. Flexible plastic, pref. polypropylene on which printing can be done, can be used as the blade material. They can be arranged to fold along a radial lone dividing them into first and second sections, while the holder secures them by a horizontal first face and a second one sloping downwards. ADVANTAGE - Allows use of large blades accommodating advertisements, with low running speed and consequent less risk of accidental injury.
