PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation and abrasion of internal parts of a hydraulic cylinder, and to miniaturize the hydraulic cylinder, by giving flexibility to a flange part for fixing a cylindrical piece. CONSTITUTION:The lower end of a cylindrical piece 8 is formed into a thin walled flange 27, and this flange 27 of the cylindrical piece 8 is fixed together with a cover 28 to a hydraulic cylinder's main body 1. A gap 29 between the cylindrical piece 8 and the hydraulic cylinder's main body 1, a gap 30 between the flange 27 and the hydraulic cylinder's main body 1, and a gap 31 between the flange 27 and the cover 28 are respectively provided. The diameter D of the cylindrical pipece 8 at a position corresponding to an O-ring 9 is designed so as to be equal to the diameter (d) of a position corresponding to a packing 23; hereby, a load in the direction V does not act on the cylindrical piece 8 because of the internal oil pressure of the hydraulic cylinder's main body 1, so that the wall thickness of the flange 27 can be thinned regardless of the strength required for the oil pressure. |
