<p>PURPOSE:To easily obtain a two-terminal element type large-screen high- definition liquid crystal display device which has high picture quality by dividing the shape of a sintered body varistor element and installing the element mounting on adjacent picture element electrodes. CONSTITUTION:The shape of the sintered varistor element 13 is divided and the sintered body varistor element 13 is installed between a row electrode 11 and a picture element electrode 12 while straddling two adjacent picture element electrodes. Therefore, even if a position shift is caused at the time of printing, the width of the varistor element for each picture element electrode becomes constant, so the permissible range of the printing position shift is increased and variance among respective varistor element characteristics is reduced. Consequently, the two-terminal element type large-screen high-definition liquid crystal display device with high picture quality is easily manufactured at high yield.</p> |
