A beer container (10) is located in a refrigerated chamber, and is cooled by a refrigerator unit (11). A dispenser point with a tap (12) is installed in a bar above the refrigerated chamber, the container and the tap being connected by a rise pipe (3) suitably encased (4). The encasement can be a tube or an insulation in which the upstream and downstream cooling piping runs but does not reach the tap. To intensify the heat transfer from the interior of the rise pipe (3) to the fluid in a water tank (13), the rise pipe can have its surface enlarged by plates (19). In the refrigerated chamber (9) is a hose arrangement (1), a radiator or heat exchanger, in which coolant fluid is circulated by means of a pump (2). To the hose (1) are connected upstream (5) and downstream (6) pipes which cool the rise pipe (3). USE - For bars and restaurants, to cool beer prior to serving.
