PURPOSE:To prepare a transparent PP resin compsn. printable without priming and esp. excellent in printability with W-curable ink by compounding a PP resin with an olefin (co)polymer having a specific linking group in the side chain. CONSTITUTION:A PP resin is compounded with an olefin (co)polymer having a linking group of the formula (wherein (x) is 3 or 4; (y) is 1 or 2; and H is a metal) in the side chain to give a PP resin compsn. Generally, a PP resin is excellent in mechanical properties, low in cost, easily moldable, and hence widely used in many applications, but it is inferior in secondary processing properties such as printability and coatability. The compsn. obtd. as above is transparent, printable without priming, esp. excellent in printability with a W-curable ink, and formed into a molded article, film, or sheet suitable for use as a container or packaging material. |
