PURPOSE:To execute high-speed both-side copying, by switching back a one-side copied transfer paper sheet, stacking it on a refed sheet station, inverting and refeeding them, copying a toner image on the reverse side of each one-side copied sheet, at that time, counting one-side coied sheets from the arrival of the first one, and refeeding the one-side copied sheet for copying from the refed sheet station after counting up the quantity of copies. CONSTITUTION:A copy paper sheet having a toner image copied on one side in transfer stations 6, 7, the rear end is changed to the front end in a switchback station (d), and fed to a refed sheet station (g). The sheets stacked on a refeed belt 31 each successively shifted little by little are sent with a feed roll 33 in the order of arrival, inverted upside down in an inversion station (f), a toner image is transferred on the reverse side, too, and ejected onto an ejection tray 25 by changing over a claw 27a. An intermediate container is different from a tray type, and does not stack all of the sheets, so, failure at the time of refeed is small. |
