<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a specific current value without decreasing the ratio (aperture rate) of the area of a part where light is transmitted by forming the row electrode and picture element electrode of a sintered body varistor element formation part in an inter-digital shape. CONSTITUTION:A transparent insulation substrate on which the row electrode 11 and picture element electrode 12 at the part where the sintered body varistor element 13 is formed is coated with varistor paste by a screen printing method to form a varistor pattern. Then the varistor paste is baked to form a sintered body varistor 13. Namely, the row electrode 11 and picture element electrode 12 at the part where the sintered body varistor element is formed is in the inter-digital shape, so even when the length of the sintered body varistor element in the row electrode direction is short, a current is made to flow to the same specific value with an increase in varistor width. Consequently, a decrease in aperture rate is small and a bright display screen is obtained.</p> |
