The guide system for frogs, toads etc. comprises a number of individual fence elements (40) in the form of oblong plate or dish elements whose outer side is inclined towards the ground and whose upper area (47) can be supported on the ground by one or more supports (49). The side opposite the first outer side is steep and/or shaped with an overhand. A tunnel formed from tubular tunnel elements is set on the side of the fence between its ends whereby the entrance can be reached from the other side of the fence. The fence can be made from any suitable material such as wood or plastics.
