Sepg. endless belts from elastomer material tube section - by supporting tube on profiled roller(s), rotating roller and sepg. tool against tube to remove belt sections

A process for sepg. endless belts from an elastomer material tube section with embedded steel wires, includes supporting the tube section on at least one profiled roller, rotating the roller and then moving a sepg. tool against the tube in order to remove belt sections. The elastomer material is sepd. by cutting or grinding. The tensile member is cut using a thermal melting process. ADVANTAGE - The process is simple and enables the cutting point to be very localised.
