摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve the machined quality and productivity of workpieces by judging whether or not a tool magazine is equipped with all the tools required for the machining of a workpiece extracted according to the order of a machining schedule and also whether or not the life of each tool is satisfactory, and determining this extracted workpiece as the workpiece to be machined next only when the judgment is proved to be satisfactory. CONSTITUTION:The conditions of numerous tools to be used in each NC program is stored into a tool condition storage means 5 for the tools to be used in each NC program. The tool numbers and consumption time of tools held on the tool magazine of each machine tool are stored into a tool condition storage means 3 for the tool held in each machine tool. A workpiece is then extracted according to the order of a previously provided machining schedule, and a tool condition comparing means 7 performs comparison/discrimination in relation to the tools of an optional machine tool (tool magazine) regarding whether or not all the tools to be used for the extracted workpiece are available and whether or not the tool life is valid. In case even one tool is unsatisfactory lifewise, this machine tool (tool magazine) is regarded to be unfit for machining this workpiece.</p>
