<p>PURPOSE:To stably control pitch between rolling in accordance with the variation of rolling speed by excluding the concept of rolling time and tracking the tail end part of a preceding rolled stock. CONSTITUTION:A mill pacing device of a rolling line where a rolling mill is arranged succeeding to a heating furnace is constituted so as to track the position of the tail end of a preceding rolled stock as a distance from a 1st rolling mill, to calculate a time by which the position of the tip of the preceding rolled stock is reached to the 1st rolling mill from the heating furnace and also to output extraction starting command for a following rolled stock at the timing when a tracking distance is equal to what the difference between the reaching time and the target time of pitch between rollings is multiplied by the speed on the inlet side of the 1st rolling mill. In this way, pitch between rollings can be stably controlled in accordance with rolling speed.</p> |
