Wildlife safety warning system - in which warning sound signal is set of by headlamps of approaching vehicle

The wildlife warning system is used to warn wildlife of approaching vehicles. It is mounted on lamp posts on the road. The system comprises at least one sound emitter (8) which is actuable by a switch stage (12) to emit an acoustic warning signal. The switch stage (12) is connected to a sensor (6,7) on the lamp post which reacts to light from the headlamps of an approaching vehicle to actuate the switch (12). USE/ADVANTAGE - A simple inexpensive system which can easily be integrated into existing lamp posts etc. Gives clear warning of approaching vehicles when it is dark or in half light.
