PURPOSE:To enable a character and a pattern which are transferred to a transfer medium to be decorated with other required colors by a method wherein an ink composition is composed of a specific softening point crystalline thermoplastic resin, grade 1 or grade 2 or over of a specific glass transition point amorphous thermoplastic resin and an inorganic and/or an organic pigment. CONSTITUTION:For a tansfer material, a character and a pattern are printed on a carrier by an ink composition composed of a 85 deg.C max. softening point crystalline thermoplastic resin and a 85 deg.C max. glass transition point amorphous thermoplastic resin, and a pressure sensitive adhesive is applied thereto. The letter and pattern of the transfer material ink are transferred onto a transfer medium by pressurizing by using this transfer material, and a metal foil sheet or a pigment foil sheet are superimposed thereon. They are heated to aaprox. 100 deg.C-150 deg.C from over this foil sheet with a heater, and are pressured as occasion demands. Then, when it is allowed to stand for approx. 10 sec to remove remaining heat and this foil sheet is peeled off, the transfer material decorated in color with the character and pattern of the transfer material ink transferred onto the transfer medium by the foil sheet is obtained. |
