<p>PURPOSE:To extract copying paper collectively after the completion of staple copying by providing a control means operating a driving means after the completion of a staple and projecting and retreating and moving a plurality of trays for a sorter. CONSTITUTION:When a staple is completed, a motor 4 for moving a tray for the tray 3 for sorting at a first stage is driven, a pinion gear is turned with the driving of the motor 4, and a tray for sorting at an uppermost stage is shifted in the direction of paper discharge by racks mounted to the underside of the tray 3 for sorting. Consequently, an opening is formed between a tray 3 for sorting at a second stage and said tray 3 while copying paper, which is placed on the tray 3 for sorting at the first stage and stapled completely, is dropped onto the tray 3 for sorting at the second stage. A motor 4 for moving the tray for the tray 3 for sorting at the second stage is driven, the tray 3 for sorting at the second stage is shifted in the direction of paper discharge, and copying paper originally put on the tray 3 for sorting at the second stage and copying paper being dropped from the upper section of the tray 3 for sorting at the first stage are dropped onto a tray 3 for sorting at a third stage.</p> |
