<p>PURPOSE:To shorten a laminating process for prepreg by severing only prepreg into a predetermined shape without severing the lined paper of a prepreg tape, subsequently, removing the unnecessary prepreg over the lined paper, and thereby forming a severed prepreg tape. CONSTITUTION:A prepreg is fashioned such that a prepreg is stuck in a rolled manner on a lined paper. The cutter blade 21 of a cutting device 20 is placed into contact with the projection 46a of a measuring sensor 46 periodically during the change of the cutter blade 21 and cutting operation, thus detecting the deflection of attached position of the cutter blade 21 and abrasion losses during severing operation. These detected values are fed back to the control device of a small sized servo-motor 28, and the cutter blade 21 is finely controlled so as to be placed at an appropriate position wherein the lined paper 10b is not severed thereby. By the cutting device 20 controlled in this way, the prepreg 10a is severed, and the prepreg tape 10' made with predetermined notches is then transported to an unnecessary prepreg removing device 50, thereby effecting a removing operation of the unnecessary prepreg.</p> |
