PURPOSE:To prevent image density from lowering and to control toner concentration with high accuracy by synchronizing a light emitting commanding signal to a laser light source with a toner supply commanding signal to a developing device. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive drum 11 is uniformly electrostatically charged on its surface part by an electrostatic charger 12, then, main-scanned by a scanner in the shaft direction of the drum 11 with a laser beam 13 corresponding to an original image information read, and also sub-scanned to be image- exposed, and an electrostatic latent image is formed at the part. This image is developed by the developing unit 14 and becomes a visual toner image, and is transferred to a transfer paper 16 by electric field from a transfer charger 15. The paper 16 is separated from the drum 11 through a separation charger 17, and a toner image is heated and fixed by a fixing device. On the other hand, a CPU provided on a controlling unit outputs a toner supplying signal in synchronism with the transmitting of an LD-ON signal according to a specified program previously stored in an inside memory and executes a toner supply corresponding to an LD light emitting time. |
