The bougie has a narrowing shaft (8) with a long hole (11) to accommodate a mandrin, and running from a first open end (3) to a second end (6). The hole has a varying lumen, which can take either the mandrin or a prepn., which is fed in an application hose (4) to the first end (3). The application hose connected to the proximal end of the shaft and the prepn. inside the hose are parts of an afterloading probe, which can be introduced into the long hole (11). The lumen variation takes the form of ring-shaped stages or as conical narrowing sections. The shaft (8) is made of plastic, and has marks or graduations in the region of the lumen variation. USE - For carcenoma therapy of the aesophagus, colon and urethra.
