<p>PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary to execute time control up to the end of batch erasing of writing data externally by polling the end of data batch erasing by the detected results of output levels of all bit lines in an EPROM in a reading state. CONSTITUTION:A polling control part 5 checks the erasing end of writing data, signals from respective bit lines of an E<2>PROM, a check signal CHECK and an ERASE COMMAND signal are inputted to the control part 5, and after checking the end of erasing a polling POLL is outputted from the control part 5. A check signal CHECK is respectively inputted to a column decoding part 11 and a row decoding part 12 in a memory cell array part 1. All cells in the memory cell array part 1 are turned to a reading state and the end of erasing is checked by the control part 5. Thus, the EPROM device is provided with a polling function for automatically checking the erasing of data. Consequently, it is unnecessary to control the erasing time externally.</p> |
