PURPOSE:To improve generating performance by disposing the dense part of a fine structure in the vicinity of its surface touching an electrolyte plate and at the same time disposing the coarse part of the fine structure in the vicinity of a gas passageway. CONSTITUTION:An oxygen electrode 2 and a fuel electrode 3 are composed of three kinds of oxygen electrode film 2a, 2b, 2c and three kinds of fuel electrode films 3a, 3b, 3c, which are respectively of porous substances and have different fine structure, and on the oxygen electrode side, the oxygen electrode films 2a, 2b, 2c are laminated in order of dense to coarse namely from the side making contact with the electrolyte plate 1 to the separator 6 side so that the fine structure changes stepwise to coarse, and similarly on the fuel electrode side, the fuel electrode films 3a, 3b, 3c are laminated so that the fine structure on the side touching the electrolyte plate 1 is dense and stepwise becomes coarse. Thereby, a gas passageway structural member 7 used for forming a gas passageway is disposed between the oxygen electrode film 2c and the separator 6 to form a gas passageway 4 and at the same time a gas passageway structural body 8 used for forming a gas passageway is disposed between the fuel electrode film 3c and the separator 6 to form a gas passageway 5. |
