<p>A method for producing composite elements comprising at least one layer of foamed polyacrylimide or polymethacrylimide and at least one layer of thermoplastics, consists of spreading the thermoplastics while in the thermoplastic state onto the foam layer. Preferred thermoplastics are polymethylmethacrylate and polycarbonate. In a preferred arrangement, the thermoplastics are directly extruded through fishtail dies onto the surface of moving foam panels.</p> |
