<p>Tramrail groove refacing mobile welder comprises a trolley, which moves along the rails to be repaired. The trolley wheels are flange-less. On the far side from the welding head is provided a two roll guiding device. The rolls have dias., below the wheel groove width and are nearly vertically mounted. They are height adjustable and their axial distance from each other in relation to the track direction is transversely adjustable, so that one roll is pressed against either flank side of the rail groove. In the prefd. design a consumable electrode arc welder is used. The machine is fully automatic and propels itself along the track repairing the rails in situ.</p> |
