PURPOSE:To reduce heat energy loss and minimize production cost by opening one end of a heat exchanger tube laid out on the downstream side of a gas purification catalyst body to the downstream side of the catalyst body, and opening and communicating the other end of the tube with a suction air side of a forced exhaust air evacuation means. CONSTITUTION:Odor-contained exhaust gas is sucked up from a suction port 12 by a forced exhaust air evacuation means 16a where a catalytic body 14a in the air current increases its temperature with a heating means 15. However, the heat energy is classified into one absorbed by he catalytic body 14a and one discharged into the side of an exhaust air port 13. The heat of the latter is absorbed into heat exchange fins 18a on the downstream side of the catalytic body 14a. On the other hand, one end of a heat exchange tube 17a communicated with the suction side by the revolution of the forced exhausting means 16a is forced under a negative pressure state where an air current is generated, which flows from the downstream side of the catalytic body 16a to the suction side of the forced air evacuation means 16a. The heat energy whose heat is absorbed by the fins 18a move to the upstream side of the catalytic body 14a by way of the tube 17a and contributes to the heating of the catalytic body. |
