PURPOSE:To obtain a resinous bumper of low cost, good yield, and of little cutting error by making a reinforcing fiber material have directional characteristic, by integrating it with a thermoplastic resin, so as to mold a bumper main body, and by letting the reinforcing fiber material run along the longitudinal direction of the bumper main body. CONSTITUTION:To form a resinous bumper 11, a thermoplastic resin is integrated with a long fiber glass wire rod 9 which is a reinforcing fiber material, so as to mold a bumper main body 11a, and the long fiber glass wire rod 9 is let run along the longitudinal direction of the bumper main body 11a. When a material 7 is put on a carrier part 2 of a carrier conveyer 1, and a required weight portion is sent to a heating part 3 each time, the material 7 is heated, and a thermoplastic resinous wire rod 8 is melted, and the adjacent materials 7 are welded with each other, and are carried out of the carrier part in the form of one sheet material. These are properly bundled and a blank material 10 is formed therefrom, and the blank material 10 is deposited in such a way that the long fiber glass wire rod 9 is let run in the longitudinal direction of the bumper main body 11a, and is carried in a metal frame 6, and the resinous bumper 11 is molded by press process. |
