<p>A rotary atomizer (20) having an atomizer bell (26) rotatably supported at one end of a housing or shroud (21). An opposite end of the shroud is releasably secured to a manifold (22) by fasteners (27,28). The manifold includes an inlet (63) connected to a source of coating fluid and at least one passageway (84,85,86) adapted to be connected to a source of compressed air. A fitting (34,35,36) extends from the passageway for engaging an inlet aperture on the shroud when the rotary atomizer is secured to the manifold.</p> |
