PURPOSE:To reproduce a high-pitched sound range over a wide band, to reduce the resonance peak at the high-pitched sound range and to improve the reproduction efficiency by making the diaphragm with a Ti-Al alloy of specific constituent. CONSTITUTION:The Ti-Al alloy made diaphragm is made of a Ti-Al alloy comprising 24atom%-26atom% of Ti and 74atom%-76atom% of Al. It is most desirable to employ an intermetallic compound of TiAl3 for the alloy of the diaphragm. Since the sound velocity of the Ti-Al alloy having a prescribed constituent is sufficiently high-pitched sound range reproduction is enough for the diaphragm and it has a large internal loss, then a resonance peak at a high-pitched sound range is suppressed to be a small value. Furthermore, since the Ti-Al alloy of a prescribed component has a sufficient density, the reproduction efficiency of the diaphragm is excellent. |
