PURPOSE:To obtain a bed apparatus which can keep side bars higher quickly when they are not used by making a pair of arms rotatable against a bracket to be fixed being turned while the two side bars are mounted on respective arms. CONSTITUTION:Arms 29 and 30 overhangs in a direction of the width of a bed body 3 from a bracket 28 and in an opposite ways to each other. When the arms 29 and 30 are turned upward individually, hook parts 36 and 37 of hook links 33 and 34 are made to engage engaging pins 38 and 39 to fix the arms 29 and 30 being turned upward. Two side bars 10 and 11 are mounted on the arms 29 and 30 respectively and take upper and lower two positions 2 with the rotation of the arms 29 and 30. This enables the lifting of the two side bars to a higher position quickly with the rotation of the arms and thus, a patient is kept from a sort of pressure otherwise created by the side bars when they are not used or a likely cause of blocking examination or the like is got rid of. |
