<p>PURPOSE:To make rapid supply or exchange operation possible by lowering the bottom plate by a bottom plate lifting mechanism with indication of a lowering switch, and controlling the bottom plate lifting mechanism to lift the bottom plate from the time closed again after covers are opened in the midst of lowering thereof. CONSTITUTION:When it is detected that a sheet material or the bottom plate 18 is abutted on a feed roller, by the upper limit sensor 28, lifting the bottom plate 18 is stopped. Moreover, when lowering switch 20 is pushed, the bottom plate 18 is lowered, in an usual case, until it is detected that the bottom plate reaches to the bottom limit position, by the bottom limit sensor 29 provided in the bottom part of the bottom plate 18. When the lowering switch 20 is pushed or a size adjusting dial 21 is operated, the bottom plate 18 is lowered, and when covers 16, 17 are opened in the midst of lowering thereof, the bottom plate 18 is stopped. Hereafter, when the covers 16, 17 are closed, the bottom plate 18 is lifted from the time. When the covers 16, 17 are opened in the midst of lift, the bottom plate 18 is stopped, and when the covers 16, 17 are closed again, the bottom plate 18 is lifted again.</p> |
