PURPOSE:To prevent inconvenience even when an anti-lock brake system is used in combination by providing a means for prohibiting the operation of a differential limiting-device when a brake signal or/and a steering signal is/are output. CONSTITUTION:In a mode of normal running, since air is supplied from an air tank 3 to a cylinder 22, the frictional power between a clutch board 25 and a frictional board 26 is increased, while a side gear 16 is not freely rotated to a differential case 15, a differential operation is limited. On the other hand, when a brake pedal 7 is pedalled and thus operated, a brake signal is output from a brake sensor 8, while, when a steering wheel 9 is operated at an angle larger than the normal, a steering signal is output from a steering sensor 10, and a solenoid valve 6 is off-operated by a relay box 11. Air pressure is then changed over and supplied to the cylinder 22 of a differential limiting-device 2, and the differential limiting operation is thereby cancelled. The interference between am anti-lock brake system and the differential limiting-device is avoided thereby, and smooth braking is carried out, while the operability of an automobile is ensured.
