PRODUCTION OF LOW-TEMPERATURE DRY GAS AND EQUIPMENT THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To easily solve various troubles due to moisture by supplying compressed gas to a gas separation membrane module for dehumidification and supplying dry gas which has not diffused to a low-temp. gas generator using an ultrahigh-speed spiral flow and pulling out low-temp. dry gas from one end and also pulling out high-temp. dry gas from the other end and utilizing this dry gas as purge gas in the diffusion side of the separation membrane module. CONSTITUTION:After a gaseous raw material is supplied to a gas separation membrane module 3 for dehumidification and moisture is sufficiently removed, the obtained dry gas which has not diffused is supplied to a low-temp. gas generator 4 due to an ultrahigh-speed spiral flow system. The compressed gas is turned at ultrahigh speed to form it s vortex. A cooled gas is generated to the center part of the vortex. The low-temp. dry gas is pulled out from one end of the gas generator 4 and also high-temp. dry gas is taken out from the other end. While this high-temp. dry gas is circulated and utilized as purge gas in the diffusion side of the gas separation membrane of a module 3, the low-temp. dry gas is continuously produced from the low-temp. gas generator 4. Thereby the low-temp. dry gas can easily be produced.
