PURPOSE:To obtain an engine oil for pollution-free outboard motor, having excellent lubricating properties and a small amount of piled substance in a combustion chamber, containing a polyol ester, a petroleum-based solvent and an additive in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:The objective engine oil containing (A) 50-90wt.% (preferably 60-75wt.%) polyol ester, (B) 5-30wt.% (preferably 15-20wt.%) petroleum-based solvent and (C) 5-20wt.% (preferably 9-11wt.%) additive and having 38-42mm<2>/s viscosity at 40 deg.C and >=67% biodigradation ratio by biodigradation test. |
