PURPOSE:To realize a linearity correction circuit for linearly compensating elongation in the middle in a pattern unable to be corrected by an S-shaped correction capacitor by applying a resonance pulse to an integration circuit, generating a projecting curved voltage so as to attain waveform shaping, shaping the upper part of the waveform to be flat through the use of a clip circuit and superimposing the shaped voltage onto a signal in the S-shaped correction capacitor. CONSTITUTION:A resonance pulse is fed to an integration circuit comprising resistors and capacitors 10-13 via a capacitor 9, in which a projecting curved voltage having a horizontal scanning period is generated. The projecting curved voltage is fed to an in-phase amplifier circuit 22, in which the voltage is amplified, the result is fed to a clip circuit in which a cathode of a diode 17 connects to a connecting point of voltage division resistors 15, 16 so as to clip an elongation in the middle of a pattern. A correction voltage obtained in this way is fed to an S-shaped correction capacitor 6 through a buffer transistor(TR) 18, a capacitor 20 and a resistor 21. Thus, apparent linearity is improved. |
